Lucy Baird, MS, LMHC, ATR, RYT-500
ucy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist who specializes in helping adults heal from trauma through creativity, nervous system regulation, and authentic connection. Her work is especially meaningful for highly sensitive individuals, creatives, helpers, LGBTQ+ adults, and those seeking to reconnect with themselves after experiences that have felt overwhelming or difficult to put into words.
Lucy earned her Master's degree in Art Therapy from Florida State University and has continued to expand her practice through advanced training in EMDR, somatic healing, mindfulness, yoga, and sound healing. She integrates these evidence-based and body-centered approaches to support healing that extends beyond conversation alone.
At the heart of Lucy's work is the belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to slow down, become curious about our experiences, and reconnect with ourselves. She offers a collaborative, compassionate space where clients can explore emotions, process trauma, regulate their nervous systems, and build greater self-trust at a pace that feels supportive.
Lucy's approach weaves together traditional psychotherapy with creative expression and somatic practices, recognizing that some experiences are difficult to express through words alone. Whether through conversation, art, mindfulness, or body-based interventions, therapy is tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
She has experience supporting adults navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, chronic stress, and identity exploration, and is passionate about helping people cultivate lives that feel grounded, authentic, and aligned with their values.
Lucy believes therapy is not about fixing who you are—it's about creating a safe space to reconnect with your inner wisdom, foster resilience, and move toward lasting healing with curiosity and self-compassion.
